The Asheville Outdoor Center is located on Amboy Rd in West Asheville. Take float trips down the French Broad River through the Biltmore Estate property. Kayak, Canoe, raft or tube. Asheville's first SUP paddleboarding rentals and lessons(stand up paddleboarding) an exciting a new way to float the river. Open April through October. Nantahala Outdoor Center is located on US 19 West in Bryson City. It is named one of the best outfitters on earth by National Geographic Adventure. Go whitewater rafting on the French Broad, the Nantahala, the Nolichucky and the Pigeon River. It was fun just watching.
