Most colleges now offer online courses. Distance learning courses is ideal for those who have jobs and family. Online college classes eliminate the need to travel which gives you more time to study, work or do what you want to do. There are alot of online schools that offer associate degrees, bachelor degrees (bs), master degrees and more online training.

Accredited online courses include veterinary assistance programs, computer degrees, Business, Managements, Arts, History, Psychology, Socialogy, paralegal, medical transcriptionist, interior decorating, health services, electrician training and even dog obedience training.

The North Carolina University system offers online courses. There are 16 universities participating in the online programs. ECU has the most online courses and classes. You can take classes online at UNC Chapel Hill, U of Greensboro, Fayetteville, Wilmington, Asheville, Charlotte, to name a few. If you are enrolled at a university or college you will have to ask permission in writing to take a class via the NC university system so you will get credit for it. You can take a class or enter a program.

Asheville Buncombe Technical Community College also offers classes online. However, if you are at an university, you can not take classes if you have over 60 credits. You must also get permission to take any classes at another college or university.
