The charm and elegance of The Wellesley's splendid interior with its fine art and furniture collection gracing five stories, is a unique setting for elegant dining, luxury accommodation, functions, conferences and extensive recreation facilities. The Wellesley is a magnificently restored heritage building. Designed by William Gray Young in 1927 this masterpiece was awarded a gold medal for architecture. It is regarded as Wellington's finest example of neo-Georgian architecture.

- Deluxe Guest Room: Our luxury suites each have their individual character, but their size and decor reflect the opulent nature of the building. All have en-suite bathrooms of significant size. Like the executive suites the furnishings are in neo-Georgian style, while incorporating all the modern creature comforts to someone's stay relaxing and enjoyable. Living and sleeping areas are not separate. - Executive Guest Room: Executive Guest Room with 1 Queen Bed, Harbor or Marina View, each room has its own distinctive character and has been fully renovated to combine modern comforts while staying in keeping with the neo-Georgian architecture of the heritage building. All have en-suite bathrooms of large size. The living area is not separate to the sleeping area. Also includes mini bar, coffeemaker, iron/board, hairdryer, sofa, desk, cable TV, desk, internet access in room, phone, modem jack/data port, and bath robe.
