The Kobe Bay Sheraton Hotel and Towers is located in Kobe on man-made Rokko Island. The hotel is easily accessible from Kansai International Airport via the airport limousine bus, and the Shinkansen (bullet train) station and Sannomiya station in Kobe via bus. The hotel is connected by an overhead walkway to the Rokko Liner, which allows our guests access to all parts of Kansaivia Japan's world-renowned train system. With the opening of Universal Studios Japan in April of 2001, the Kobe Bay Sheraton Hotel and Towers, an associate hotel of USJ, now has a 25-minute shuttle bus service connecting the hotel and the park. Our rooms offer guests all the luxuries of a fine hotel with views of Rokko Mountain and Osaka Bay with non-smoking and disabled rooms available. Comfortable interiors of restrained elegance include separate shower and bathing facilities, vanity areas and international-sized beds to guarantee a pleasant night's sleep for all. The 21-floor hotel features 276 Traditional and Tower level guest rooms. A banquet at the hotel can cater to any group from an international convention to a private party for friends. Directions to Kobe Bay Sheraton Hotel & Towers
If you take the Shinkansen (bullet train) and arrive at Shin-Kobe station, there is a bus from the station direct to the hotel. The bus stop is located near the station exit. Look for the "Minato Kanko Bus" stop. The bus takes approximately 35 minutes. Take the Airport Limousine bus from the Kansai International Airport direct to the hotel, which takes about 57 minutes. The bus stop is #6 for Kobe Rokko Island and Sannomiya, City Center. Taxi service is available for a charge. Pick-up service provided by the hotel is available for a charge. The charge will be added to your hotel bill. There is no direct Airport Limousine service to Rokko Island. However if you are not in a hurry and do not have a lot of luggage, the most economical transportation to Rokko Island is to take a limousine bus to Sannomiya which takes about 40 minutes. From there, follow the directions from Sannomiya listed below. Taxi service is available for a charge. It takes about 30 to 40 minutes to reach the hotel. Pick-up service provided by the hotel is available for a charge. The charge will be added to your hotel bill. If you come from Sannomiya, you can either take a bus, or a train from JR Sannomiya station. The bus leaves from the south side of the station and takes approximately 25 minutes. Look for the "Minato Kanko Bus" stop. The train leaves Sannomiya station frequently. Take the first available Local or Express train (do not take a Limited Express) to Sumiyoshi (10 minutes). Then transfer to the Rokko Liner and take it to Island Center station (8 minutes). The hotel is located adjacent to the station. The hotel entrance is a one-minute walk to your left, after the exit. There is frequent train service between the airport and JR (Japan Railway) Shinkansen Nagoya station (Shinkansen-guchi). It takes 30 minutes to reach Nagoya station. From there, take the "Hikari", "Kodama" or "Nozomi" train. If you take a direct train it will take approximately 90 minutes from Nagoya to Shin-Kobe station (589.5 Kilometers). As mentioned above, there is a bus from Shin-Kobe station to the hotel. If coming by train, take either the JR Kobe Line to Sumiyoshi station (about 20 minutes from Osaka station) or the Hanshin Railway to Uozaki station (about 23 minutes from Osaka Umeda station). Transfer to the Rokko Liner and get off at Island Center station (about 8 minutes from Sumiyoshi station). The hotel is a short walk from Island Center station. If driving, take either the Hanshin Expressway Wangan Route, exit at Rokko Island North and follow the signs to the hotel (the hotel is about 2 minutes from the exit). Or take the Hanshin Expressway Kobe Route and get off at the Uozaki exit and follow the signs to Rokko Island (the hotel is about 10 minutes from the exit). Once you get to Rokko Island, follow the signs to the hotel. Note: The hotel parking lot accommodates 201 cars.
