Description

The Hotel California is situated on the second floor of an historical building on a central street of Florence, Via Ricasoli. Recently refurbished, it is very peaceful and comfortable and the surroundings fully reflect the atmosphere of the Florentine renaissance style. As an evidence of this, in many guestrooms, you will find original ornaments such as frescoes *Affreschi* and stucco work of the renaissance period. The 22 rooms, in Florentine style, are spacious, luminous and provided with air-conditioning, telephone, TV and safe, some have a mini-bar. The bathrooms, with bathtub and shower, are decorated with white Carrara marble and are complete with a hairdryer. The rooms with a view on the Cupola of the Duomo are particularly romantic as is the breakfast served on the roomy terrace-garden. **ANY EARLY DEPARTURE FROM THE HOTEL WILL RESULT IN A CHARGE OF 100 PERCENT OF THE STAY****

Directions

If you arrive from the central station, you can either walk in the direction of *Duomo* or you can take a bus *numbers 23 or 14* in the direction of Duomo. A taxi is also recommended at the cost of aproximately ITL 10,000. From the Florence airport you can either take a taxi *about ITL 40,000* or the bus number 62, direction Duomo. If driving from the highway from Rome or Bologna, follow directions to city center, Piazza della Liberta, Via Cavour, Via Alfani, Via Ricasoli. Private parking is available at the cost of ITL 40,000 per day.
