Since 1846, this historically famous hotel is located on the summit rim of the Kilauea Cadlera and is nestled in an Ohia forest right inside of the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Steps away from the edge of the magnificent Kilauea crater, Volcano House guest rooms offer a breathtaking view of the Kilauea crater, Mauna Loa Mountain and the spectacular native forest of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.

Take Airport Access Road to the first signals which is a junction with Highway 11. Turn left into Highway 11 and drive South for 27 Miles. Take Highway 19 Southbound to highway 11. Follow signs for Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. 96 Miles from Airport to Hotel. Drive up Highway 11 South for 27 miles and locate the 28 mile marker.
