The ResortQuest Waimea Plantation cottages vividly recall a bygone era in Hawaii. Set in one of the oldest and largest coconut groves in Hawaii this collection of beautifully restored historic cottages is surrounded by tropical gardens and sits on a picturesque black sand beach. Voted one of Hawaii's best hotels in 2001 by travel and leisure subscribers. The cottages were originally the homes of the workers at the Waimea sugar mill. They have all been lovingly restored and furnished with a treasure trove of period pieces selected with each cottage in mind. Cottages offer verandahs or lanais and complete kitchen facilities. Guests can relax in a hammock or lawn chair and gaze at the island of Niihau or the horizon, swim in our ocean front pool, hunt for driftwood on the beach, pick fruit from the trees or enjoy a locally brewed beer and some island flavored food at the Waimea Brewing Company. ResortQuest Waimea Plantation Cottages offers a large conference room as well as outdoor venues ideal for a relaxing corporate retreat or a traditional Hawaiin wedding. Excellent local catering companies can provide Kauai's finest foods. Wedding photography, video and music services can be arranged through our events coordinator. A perfect location for small retreats and corporate meetings is the Kruse House Cottage. It features 5 individual bedrooms, each with it's own private bathroom and a large common area offering living room, kitchen and dining room.
Guarantee Policy
All reservations require a credit card deposit at time of booking. Deposit equals 1 or 2 nights accommodation plus tax depending on time of year. Low Season - 1 night plus tax. High Season and Holiday Period - 2 nights plus tax.
Cancellation Policy
Year-round policy: Must cancel 3 days prior to arrival. Year-end policy: Must cancel 30 days prior to arrival. These guidelines must be followed in order to receive full refund of deposit. Guests should allow 3 to 4 weeks for receipt of deposit refunds.
