Gene's Oyster Stuffing Recipe
To Prepare Recipe: Melt butter in pan. Fry onions and garlic in butter until onions are transparent. Open package of breadcrumbs and place in a bowl large enough to accommodate it. Add melted butter, fried onions and garlic. Stir in oysters. Add enough liquid to moisten crumbs. If needed, add 1/2 stick more of butter. You can stuff the turkey with this and bake, being careful to remove all the dressing from the bird after cooking and slicing, or you can bake it in a pan for 15 to 30 minutes, until the top is brown and toasty looking.
