Marinated Salmon Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 salmon steaks
- ¼ cup salad oil
- 3 tablespoon wine vinegar
- 1 egg
- ½ tablespoon sugar
- Garlic powder
- salt and pepper
To Prepare Recipe
Mix all Recipe Ingredients and pour over salmon steaks. Marinate salmon for at least 2 hours. Remove from marinade and broil 5 minutes on each side.
Salmon Loaf Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 can salmon (15 ½ oz)
- ¼ cup milk
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup quick or old fashioned uncooked oats
- 2 beaten eggs
- 2 tablespoon minced fresh parley
- ¼ teaspoon salt
To Prepare Recipe
line 8x4 inch loaf pan with foil, allowing edges of foil to extend over side of pan. Grease lightly, drain salmon; Remove skin and bones, flake.
In medium bowl, combine salmon and remaining Recipe Ingredients
. Mix just until blended. Turn into prepared pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes or until knife come out clean from center. Cool in pan 3 minutes. Invert onto wire rack. Gently remove foil. Place loaf on serving platter. Garnish with lemon slices and sprigs of parsley. Makes 6-8 servings.
Salmon Cakes Recipe
ingredients
- 1 15oz can of Salmon
- 1 small onion
- flour
- salt and pepper
- oil
Chop onion. Mix with Salmon in a bowl. salt and pepper. add a small amount of flour to mixture. form mixture into patties and roll in flour. heat oil until hot. put a drop of water in the oil, if the water bounces the oil is hot enough. (not smoking though) put Salmon patties in hot oil and fry until brown. Add more salt and pepper if desired.
