Ingredients
- 6 pork chops
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons shortening
- 1 can frozen orange juice (undiluted)
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
To Prepare: Salt and pepper pork chops. Melt shortening in skillet, when hot, add pork chops. Brown pork on both sides over medium heat. Combine orange juice concentrate with brown sugar and cinnamon and pour over chops. Cover and simmer over medium low heat for about 45 minutes.
Baked Pork Chops with mushrooms Recipe
Ingredients
- Pork chops
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 can golden mushroom soup
- salt and pepper
To Prepare: Salt and pepper pork chops. Brown in skillet. Remove pork from pan, and add onion. Saute onion until transparent. Add mushroom soup, return pork chops to pan and cover. Simmer slowly over low heat for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
- 1 pork tenderloin split
- 1 box of stuffing mix
- 5 slices of bacon
fix stuffing according to package instructions. Split pork tenderloin lengthwise (it may already separate). Put stuffing on top of one half. Cover with over half of tenderloin. Lay bacon raw on top of pork. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and a half. Check to make sure pork is done. If done, remove from oven. If bacon is a little raw for your taste, put it in the microwave until done. Serve.
Do not reheat pork in microwave. It will ruin the flavor.
Baked Pork Chop Recipe using Cream of Chicken Soup
Ingredients
- 1 16-oz can sauerkraut drained
- 1 small onion chopped
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 4 pork chops
- salt and pepper
- 1 10 ¾ oz can cream of chicken soup undiluted
To Prepare: Mix sauerkraut, brown sugar and onion in a 12x8 pan. Salt and pepper pork chops and put over sauerkraut mixture. Pour soup over meat. Microwave 18 minutes on medium power or until pork chops are done.
