Chicken Fricassee

Chicken Pot Pie

Chicken and garlic dish is very good. It smells good while its cooking. This is a very simple dish. Be sure to cook it on low and check often so it doesn't burn. Serve with a vegetable and you have a complete meal.

Warning: Always Make sure Chicken is done before you eat it. Juices will run clear, meat will be white to the bone. No pink or red. Raw chicken or chicken not cooked properly can be deadly.

Fried Chicken and Garlic Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 can new potatoes drained
  • 1 onion chopped
  •  1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Boneless chicken cut up into serving sizes

To Prepare Recipe: Heat oil. Add onions and garlic cook until onions are translucent. Add chicken and brown on both sides. Add Potatoes and cover. Cook for 45 minutes on medium low heat or until chicken is done. Checking often. You may have to adjust the heat

Chicken Fricassee using soup

Serves 4

  • 1 lb. boneless chicken cut up
  • 1 can cream of potato soup
  • 1 can cream of onion soup
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 stalk of celery (add to taste)
  • 1 package cooked wide eggs noodles

Saute chicken pieces in skillet until done. Add onions and celery, saute until onions are transparent. Mix soup with one can of water, pour over chicken, onions and celery. Heat stirring until soup mixture is bubbly. Serve over noodles.

Chicken Pot Pie Recipe

ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken diced
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 can peas and carrots drained
  • 1 cup diced cooked potatoes

Mix together ingredients. Spread into baking dish.

  • Crust ingredients
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup self rising flour or Bisquick
  • 1 stick melted butter

Mix together milk and butter, add flour and stir until smooth.

Poor crust mixture over chicken mixture. Bake 45 minutes at 400 degrees or until crust is golden brown
