Brownie Recipe

Brownies are always good with vanilla ice cream. This brownie recipe is quick and easy to prepare.

Brownie Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 stick of butter
  • 4 squares bitter Chocolate
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon

To Prepare Recipe

Melt over low heat in a heavy saucepan, butter and chocolate. Let cool. When cool stir in sugar and mix well. Add 1 at a time, eggs mixing well after each addition. Add flour, salt and vanilla. Mix well. Grease and flour a 10x15-cookie pan. Pour brownie mixture into pan. Spread evenly. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.

Butterscotch Brownie Recipe

Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 cups light brown sugar
  • 2 well beaten eggs
  • 1-cup flour sifted
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon
  • 1-cup walnuts chopped or Pecan Pieces

To Prepare Recipe

Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Sift dry Recipe Ingredients

 and add to mixture a little at a time. Add vanilla and nuts. Stir well. Grease and flour a 8x8 pan. Pour mixture into pan and spread evenly. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
