Banana Pudding Recipe
This is a delicious recipe from my mother's recipe collection. Banana pudding is served at every get together held in the mountains from holidays to baseball team picnics. This recipe seems to be the standard recipe used for most outings.
Ingredients- Bananas
- Vanilla pudding (instant)
- Vanilla wafers
- 8 oz. Tub of frozen whipped dessert
- Milk (follow recipe on box of pudding)
To Prepare Recipe
Follow directions on box of pudding. Fold in ½ tub of cool whip. Layer a large container with vanilla wafers, pudding mixture, and slices of bananas until mixture is used up. Cover top with cool whip. Most all southerner especially mountain folk consider banana pudding an exceptional treat.

Recipe Ingredients
- 8 oz tub of cool whip
- Box of instant vanilla pudding
- Can of pineapple or mixed fruit cocktail drained
- Milk (follow recipe on box of pudding)
To Prepare Recipe: Follow directions on box of pudding. Fold in ½ tub of cool whip. Add fruit. Serve cold.
Variation: substitute canned crushed pineapple for the fruit cocktail
