Avalon is located on Catalina Island in Southern California. Its a small town. You can get there by ferry.  Ferries run from Long Beach, San Pedro and Newport Beach. Avalon is 22 miles from San Pedro and its about an hour from Long Beach.

There are no cars on the island. You can either walk, rent a bike or golf cart to get around.
