I decided to write a blog on living in Asheville NC cause writing a journal can actually give my readers an insite on the city of Asheville such as the weather day to day, whats going on in the news, schools, eating out at local restaurants, traffic, new businesses going up in the area, the housing market, the price of rent, places to see, where to shop and so forth. And if you read between the lines of my journal, you can see so much more. There are so many places here to go for a retreat from the hustle of the city. One summer, I was short on cash when I went on vacation. I took my kids to the area outdoor attractions like Lake Lure, Chimney Rock, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Lake Pohatan. These were short day trips, some were less than 15 minutes away. We had a good time and didn’t spend a whole lot either.
