You can find a nice apartment for about 700.00 a month and up, but you will have to have good credit. If you dont have good credit, that price will get you a real dump. Houses for rent start about 800.00 a month. You can find a mobile home or trailer starting at about 650.00 a month. Most all landlords require one month rent as a security deposit. Some places require first and last months rent as deposit. South Asheville or Arden is one of the most expensive areas to rent. You might be able to find cheaper rent in areas outside of Asheville, in one of the suberbs or smaller towns in Buncombe county.
