andAntonio Gaudi.
Antonio Gaudi became obsessed with his cathedral in
Barcelona called the Sagrada Familia (Expiatory Temple of the sacred family). The work of the Cathedral was taken very personal and became the life of Antonio Gaudi.
The Cathedral was made to have four facades, which represent the birth, death, and resurrection of Christ. Above each Facade are four towers; these represent the twelve apostles. The center and tallest of the towers represents Jesus Christ. Sagrada Familia is an amazing structure. Almost every statute or part of the building has some sort of meaning.
