When I was a kid, we vacationed in New Hampshire and everywhere you stopped their was Vermont maple syrup or Vermont maple candy especially the maple leaf candy. (Vermont is right next to New Hampshire) I always had to buy the maple leaf candy to complete my vacation. My parents always bought a tin quart of Vermont maple syrup to take home.
